16/5 Class Part 2

Our exercise is to train our classmates on their imaginative on face ratio, to visualize an image while take a good look at peer's faces~

Our drawing exercise was carried out in 3 section:
1. Draw with looking
     - simply sketch your friend's face on paper
2. Draw with looking + one stroke non-stop 
    - draw without lifting the pen, thus one must plan properly on where to start drawing and where             will you stop later
3. Draw without looking at paper + one stroke non-stop
   - stare at your friend's face while drawing, do not forget that you cannot lift the pen





These are some of the examples of the drawings our classmates produced. It was very fun and though a bit shy from staring at each other face for such a long time, everyone had a good time.

This exercise actually train our proportion estimation as well as discover the power of mind where it has the ability to visualize an image and draw it out without actually looking at what you are drawing!

Another lesson that is hidden behind this exercise is that we should look at our friends in the eyes when talking, discover the true beauty among ourselves instead of nodding our head into the smartphones all the time. By doing this exercise we hope that the bond between our classmates and strengthen and most importantly they had fun~

16/5 Class Part 1

Finally today is our presentation day where we carry out our properly planned activity~

We had our final class, and we also had 3 groups presenting their activities.
One of it is by using only one single piece of A4 paper, we need to cut it out and form a circle paper which can fit all of our group members which is altogether 8 persons.



And we did it!!!

We even sang a song in it and the activity ended perfectly!

25/4 Class

Today's topic is continuing the "Creativity" topic from last week~

Also, we played another game which needs us to have good mathematics~
In the game, guys represent rm1 while girls represent rm0.50. While listening to the music, we walk around in circle and when we the music stops we need to gather together in group. Per group need to come up to a sum, lets say rm3, then 2 guys and 2 girls.

It was fun~

18/4 Class

Today's lesson topic is on creativity~ We have learnt different types of creativity and how to inspire creativity~

After that, we played a small game which involves marbles, container and ropes.



We are required to transfer marbles from one container to another one by only using ropes to control the container.
We also need to be blindfolded and only have our leader to guide us~
It is quite fun and we learnt how to cooperate with other people~

11/4 Class

Sadly, there are only a few people who come to class today, the students went to a class trip thus the class seems quite empty today.

Today we discussed on an article "How to Solve Unemployed Problem"

It is very important that every students are equipped with soft skills and interrelationship skills as well as earn some working experience. This is especially important for our course which is Architecture course where soft skills and experience is utmost important.

28/3 Class

Today we are having a Quiz from all the previous topics.



There are 3 parts of the quiz:
1. Definitions of terms
2. Read the article & analyse
3. Produce Mind map

21/3 Class

In today's lesson, we have learnt on how to analyse chart.



Lecturer showed us the Chart above and asked us to do some analysis as well as opinions.
It is quite an easy analysis and we produced some points quite fast~



However, we suddenly had a naughty idea and we wrote a very exaggerated patriotic conclusion before passing it to our friend who went to the toilet during the whole discussion.
She stood up to present and smoothly read out the conclusion which is so funny that we can't hold out laughter in the class~~ Haha~ Fun in class~

7/3 Class

Who knows that newspaper can be so creative??




We had a small competition today to build a highest tower made out off newspaper!
You see ideas and creativity flowing all over the place!




This is our group's product, a tall tower which is covered by newspaper but is actually pipes inside~
The tower is supported by the bricks at the bottom and we even put leaves on top of our tower to add as decorations!!

We didn't win the competition but we sure had lots of fun~

29/2 Class

Our classes have changed schedule since Lecturer usually have meeting during Sunday, thus the following classes will be changed to every Monday, 5-7pm.

It is actually quite tiring since we have studio from 8am to 5pm every Monday but it is still okay since we usually have fun in the Critical Thinking class.

Today we did a little imaginative exercise where Lecturer gave us a picture of people picnicking beside the river and he asked us to come out with a Ghost Story based on the picture. It is truly funny to hear some of the answers and we laugh a lot~~

Today we learn about the philosophy of life~
Everybody has their own philosophy of life and unique thinking...
Some people are optimistic, some are opportunist, and etc

Having our own philosophy helps to build our characteristics and life goal~
Lecturer has asked us to sketch a logo/drawing to represent our philosophy of life,
Mine goes like this:

Life is like a kite

Let it fly up high

To reach the sky

14/2 First Lesson

Today is the first lesson of the Critical & Creative Thinking.
Our lecturer is Mohd. Nasir Masroom.
He seems to be a nice and lively teacher,
I'm sure our following class will be fun!

We were told to create our own Blog to jot down the stuff that we learned in class.
This is very Interesting and very Unique for me~

Can't wait for the next lesson.
